Our Integrated Consulting Method

What is ICM?

ICM is your transformation toolkit, bringing together the best of PRINCE2 for governance, Lean Six Sigma for process improvement, and Agile for delivery. It's designed to help organisations not only deliver successful projects, but embed a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability. 

There's three main phases: 

1. Discovery Phase

Starting with insight rather than assumptions. We need to understand everything such as where you're at, what's holding you back, and what you think success looks like for your business. To do so, we use:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Workshops and interviews with your key people to get a true picture of your goals, challenges, and culture.
  • Current State Analysis: We map out your existing systems, processes, and metrics - just the data. 
  • Opportunity Identification: Using Lean Six Sigma tools, we pinpoint where inefficiencies, costs, and friction live. 
  • Vision Setting: Together, we define what 'great' looks like - setting measurable goals that align with your bigger picture.

2. Implementation Phase:

Where we turn plans into action, with a structured but flexible approach that keeps you moving forward and adapting. This involves:

  • Programme Planning: Roadmap of what needs to happen, who's doing it, and when it'll be done. 
  • Iterative Delivery: Agile keeps us responsive. We work in sprints, gather feedback first, and adapt quickly. 
  • Process Optimisation: Lean Six Sigma helps cut out waste and streamline workflows. 
  • Performance Monitoring: We measure KPIs, dashboards, and data-led decisions to keep your transformation on track. 

3. Sustain Phase:

Where we differ from other consultants - we stay focused on long-term value and building capacity inside your team. 

We make it stick by using:

  • Knowledge Transfer: Training, documentation, workshops - we equip your people to own the change. 
  • Performance Review: What worked? What didn't? We review outcomes against goals and look for gaps to close.
  • Future Strategy Development: Together we build a roadmap for ongoing improvement and innovation.
